MANNHAI: New Album Samples Available For Download

Finnish "stoner rockers" MANNHAI, who feature in their ranks former AMORPHIS bassist Oppu Laine and ex-XYSMA frontman Joanitor Muurinen, have uploaded several audio samples from their third CD, "The Exploder", to their official web site. Check them out here.

As previously reported, the follow-up to 2002's "Evil Under the Sun" was mixed at Soundtracks studio in Helsinki with producer Jürgen Hendlmeier (FLAMING SIDEBURNS, MUTANTS) and mastered by Björn Engelmann at Cutting Room, Stockholm. It is scheduled for release on April 5 through Ranch Records.

In other news, MANNHAI reportedly caused a minor national sensation by registering a web domain in the name of Finland's prime minister, Matti Vanhanen. If you go to www.mattivanhanen.com, you will be automatically redirected to MANNHAI's official web site. There has been speculation in the Finnish newspapers that the URL is for sale for the price of 100 €.
